Card identification and estimates

Card Horse uses AI to identify visible card details and researches current public web evidence to produce an estimated USD range. Results may be incomplete, stale, or wrong. Card Horse does not guarantee identity, authenticity, condition, grade, ownership, scarcity, or a sale price.

A visible grading label may be transcribed, but Card Horse does not validate a certification number or assign a professional grade. The service is not a formal appraisal and must not be the sole basis for a purchase, sale, insurance, tax, lending, or investment decision.

Accounts and acceptable use

• Use only a Google account approved for access.
• Do not share sessions, bypass access controls, probe another member's data, or automate abusive traffic.
• Upload only card images you have permission to process.
• Do not submit secrets, payment data, illegal material, malware, or content intended to manipulate the AI system.
• Verify the identified card and evidence before relying on a result.

Access may be suspended or revoked to protect users or investigate misuse. Sessions are revocable and expire after seven days.

Photo processing

Uploaded images are checked, stripped of metadata, resized, and re-encoded as normalized JPEG files. After Card Horse accepts an upload, it retains the normalized front and optional back privately with your tenant-scoped card until you explicitly delete that card or your account, including when research is unsuccessful or inconclusive. Google Vertex AI processes the normalized pixels for identification. Tavily processes only bounded text-only market queries derived from identified card facts and never receives card photos. Google and Tavily handle submitted data under their own terms.

Daily allowance

Each person receives five successful estimates per UTC day. A unit is consumed only after a qualifying report is durably saved. Better-photo, unresolved-identity, insufficient-data, and technical-failure outcomes do not consume a unit. A reservation may temporarily reduce the displayed amount while a result is being saved.

Market evidence and third-party sources

Source links may point to third-party sites. Card Horse does not control those sites or guarantee their content, availability, rights, prices, or transaction status. Asking prices are not completed sales. Sparse evidence, variants, condition, fees, shipping, geography, and counterfeit risk can materially change value.

No paid billing

Paid plans, checkout, subscriptions, top-ups, refunds, and live Stripe charges are unavailable. The current daily allowance is provided without payment.

Availability and limitation

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. Card Horse may change, pause, or discontinue features. Card Horse is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from a result or a third-party source. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

Questions

Use the invitation or support channel through which access was granted. Do not include OAuth credentials, session cookies, or other secrets.
